Musicology with David G. Wilson

Musicology is, at best, a pseudo-science from my own school of thought. Think of it as one eejits idea of 'music therapy' intended to ease or eradicate thoughts of Monday morning for, at least, a couple of hours. Let's enjoy Sunday evening together.

Music is a precious commodity born of the craft and passion of those with the inspiration and talent to express themselves through the medium. For many, music is the soundtrack of their lives and recalling or sharing happy memories can be a cathartic experience!

I aim to play music that touches the soul, lifts the spirit, soothes the mind, gets your fingers or feet tapping and may even have you dusting off your air guitar! The best music is timeless and, even if it is from 50 (or more) years ago, it is still 'new' if you haven't heard it so be prepared for selections that range from pre-release and classics, to, little heard, forgotten or overlooked tracks, handpicked from the archives. Your soundtrack, like life itself, is under constant construction and if I can contribute a musical accompaniment to future memories then that would be a real privilege.

I hope you will take the time to tune in and get in touch
