In The Pocket with Max Mitchell
In the Pocket is an attempt to alert people to music that otherwise would remain in the shadows. A voyage through the best in bebop, bossa nova, funk, afrobeat, big band jazz, and disco.
However, I think these words put huge limitations on music and do not do a great job of best representing them. So I'll reference Gil Scott-Heron and say that In the Pocket is all about 'Music for a new day'
