With CamGlen Radio being a branch of Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust the community radio station is presented with opportunities that many other stations do not have the luxury of. One opportunity that is coming up certainly fits that bill. Healthy n Happy recently purchased the church hall next to their offices and refurbishment has begun to turn the building into a community hub for the areas of Cambuslang and Rutherglen.

Within the new hub will be three purpose built studios for CamGlen Radio as well as an area to host and broadcast live performances. There are also exciting plans to open the space as a café where people will able to witness live radio broadcasts taking place or watch a band playing their latest release while they sip their coffee.

The scope for opportunities is vast and it’s a prospect everyone involved at the station is incredibly excited about. The studios will be ready to move into in June / July with refurbishments set to continue until well after Summer.
